“Felt casual” project is part of the Mixed Media jewelry collection. These pieces were created while searching for new materials that combine good quality, a great variety of colors, convenience, and a good price. The main concept was the creation of jewelry that is easy to wear and can be produced by one person with simple tools and low-cost materials. Working with felt can become an incredible experience since it is not just a common fabric. It is thick, steady, and can be formed in many shapes. One of them is the spiral, a very common shape that we meet in nature. It’s widely used in Greek art from the ancient years until nowadays.

Beaded brooches are part of the “Mixed Media” collection. When thinking about jewelry, beads are the first thing that comes to mind. Different kinds of beads. These beaded brooches were born out of the need to use many beads that mix together with other elements to form a wearable decorative item. They are part of BeadABoo experimental works. Apart from beads, these pieces are made with inexpensive colorful materials bells, ribbons, tulle, paillettes, and safety pins.

The “Lace & Velvet” project is part of the “Mixed Media” jewelry collection and was created in 2005. The french cabaret outfits were the inspiration behind these pieces. All the materials were carefully chosen in order to attribute a sense of feminism and sensuality. The main mediums used for the jewelry pieces are lace and velvet. Apart from these materials the designer chose ostrich feathers, handmade clay beads and vintage elements.

The project includes two chocker neckpieces and a heart shaped velvet brooch.

“Textiles & Metals” project is part of the “Mixed Media” jewelry collection. The jewelry combines soft and delicate textiles with metal details and embroidered beadwork. The mediums used for this purpose are recycled textiles, silk, cord, beads, handmade bronze charms, elastic band and thread. The bronze charm is an original design and represents an abstract form of the leaf’s skeleton or the insects’ wings.
