Meet Katerina
Katerina Glinou is an Athens based architect and the inspirer of Bead A Boo Jewelry.
Born in Athens, she graduated from the School of Architecture of the National Technical University of Athens from where she also received a Master’s degree in Urban and Regional Planning.
She has worked as an architect, urban planner, furniture designer, photographer and has participated in several architectural competitions while receiving awards and mentions both in architecture and photography.
During university years she started designing and making beaded jewelry. After finishing her studies she started experimenting with a wide range of materials including thermoplastics, polymer clay, recycled materials, paper, fabrics and felt.
In 2017 Katerina Glinou took a course in Jewelry Making (Silversmith & Wax carving) at the Hellenic American Educational Foundation (HAEF). She kept developing her skills by attending seminars and practicing at her own studio.
